Philips updates its range of Hue connected bulbs
Like last year, Philips is taking advantage of the summer to renew its range of connected bulbs and another smart lighting. Signify has just presented the Hue A21 bulb, the Hue Lightstrip Plus strip, the Hue Centris, and a new Hue Bloom lamp.
The manufacturer clearly relies on Bluetooth to complete the Wi-Fi and operates a sacred turn. Even if the Hue range offers exterior lighting, Philips still mainly focuses on the interior.
The new Philips Hue White A21 bulb stands out as the brightest in the range. It offers no less than 1600 lumens, the equivalent of a 100 W bulb. It is available at a price of € 24.95.
According to the manufacturer, it is perfect for lighting a garage or a kitchen. If it turns out to be too bright, it is always possible to adjust the intensity with the dedicated application.
The Philips Hue Centris is a set of ceiling spotlights with white and colored LEDs. Again, the pack provides a very powerful light, which will illuminate your entire room.
In the pack, " accent lights ", also adjustable, have been designed to allow you to highlight objects, and the spots have a rotation of 350 degrees. Four sizes and shapes are available, for a price ranging from 280 to 450 €.
The Philips Hue Bloom table lamp benefits from a slight improvement allowing it to produce richer colors and more intense white lighting. Philips mentions a gain of 500 lumens compared to the previous model.
Good news, it is now compatible with Bluetooth. In addition, the manufacturer indicates that it can be adapted as a night light, with a brightness that can drop below 1%.
Available in black and white, the Philips Hue Bloom costs € 80.
The light strip also has a new look. Again, Bluetooth compatibility is finally assured. The other big change is that it will now be possible to reuse cut parts. A small connector will, therefore, be delivered to you to link two Lights trips together.
Two versions are available: the first one meter long (25 €) and the second 2 meters (80 €).
